He has conducted several training sessions and analytical work on Harbor Operations, Maritime Security, Disaster Recovery and Ship Agency for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Department of Commerce (DOC), Department of Transportation (DOT), NY/NJ Waterfront Commission, NJ Office of Counter terrorism (NJ OCT) as well as for members of Congress.

GROUPS & ASSOCIATIONS:

  • Appointed member by OGSMA and ODNI to the IASA (Interagency Solutions Analysis workgroup) in response to (NSD-41) National Security Directive 41 and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 13 (HSPD-13) as a part of the National Strategy for Maritime Security.
  • Advisory Board member to the “Laboratory of Port Security” at Rutgers University.
  • Advisory Board member to the “Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation” for Rutgers University.
  • Port Security Advisory Board member to the “Center for Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Sciences”
  • Recipient of the Port Security Citation at USCG Headquarters, Washington DC – April 2007.
  • Recipient of Global Situational Maritime Security Awareness award – May 2009 at National Defense University, Fort Lesley J. McNair Washington, DC.
  • Recipient of USCG Citation for exceptionally meritorious service from 2007 through 2010 in support of the Port of New York/New Jersey and Port of Albany Area Maritime Security from the Captain of the Port NY.

  • Chairman of “Citizens Leadership Council” Division 2 for Monmouth County NJ Sheriff’.

  • Served as Vessel Security Officer on board anti-poaching vessel in Southern Ocean, Ross Sea, Mc Murdo Sound, Antarctica.
  • Officer in Search and Rescue Ops in Antarctica on board vessel for 72hrs during/after worst recorded storm in 30 years in Antarctica (2011).
